My daughter uses these for her lunches and, when travelling, as a hot water bottle (perhaps this is not recommended) and has introduced me to silicone. I am using mine in the 'fridge and freezer. I like the fact that the small ones are slightly "pocketed". They seem to take up less space in the freezer than my old plastic boxes and are just the right size for one person portions. They need to be dried inside and out after being the dishwasher but it's a small price.
