Yes, absolutely! Our bags and pouches are made from 100% pure platinum food-grade silicone, meaning they are completely plastic-free. Because they contain zero plastic fillers or adhesives, they are entirely free from harmful chemicals like BPA, PFAS, and phthalates.

We use premium 304-grade (18/8) stainless steel across our entire hardware range. It is highly durable, rust-resistant, and entirely non-porous, meaning it won’t leach toxins or hold onto old food smells and stains.

We are committed to a true circular economy. Because silicone isn't accepted in standard UK household recycling bins, we run a dedicated scheme in partnership with TerraCycle. When your moonmoon products finally reach the end of their long lives, you can send them back to us, and we ensure they are processed correctly rather than heading to a landfill.

Yes- they eliminate the need for single-use plastics as they can be reused over and over again which helps to reduce waste in the environment. 

Easy peasy! They are dishwasher friendly or alternatively clean with warm soapy water. We recommend washing and drying the bags as soon as they are used. You could also try propping them open to let them ventilate inside. For an additional clean, bicarbonate of soda or white vinegar can be used. Baking the pouches empty, in a hot oven, can remove food smells too.

No please do not put any kind of metal in the microwave! Use the oven to heat up or warm food in our stainless steel lunchboxes and snack pots.

Yes you can! Just be aware that liquids will expand in the freezer, so be careful to not overfill alternatively you can leave a small gap open at the top.
