One of our favourite healthy snacks here at moonmoon. Easy to make and adaptable according to what you have at home! No cooking required and they freeze really well too.
Ingredients
300g Mixed nuts - your choice!
250g Dates (ready to eat)
3 tbsp Water
1 tsp Cinnamon
Method
1. Add all the ingredients into a food processor.
2. Pulse a few times to help break the pieces up, then blitz for around 30 seconds until broken up into small pieces. Scrape the edges and add additional water if needed.
3. Continue to process for a couple of minutes until it starts to clump together.
4. Shape into small balls and enjoy!
These delicious energy balls can be stored in the fridge for several weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months (our reusabale silicone bags are perfect for this).
